Christian fellowship is a fundamental piece of spiritual health for all Christians. As the earliest followers of Christ in Acts 2 entered the newly established Church, they spent their time eating with one another and sharing life together. Crestview has intentionally made fellowship a key part of our Sunday morning experience. Between classes and our worship services, we carved out space and time to meet and greet one another and welcome our honored visitors. We offer a variety of refreshments as well as donuts in our foyer and Coffee Spot to make these times of fellowship as filling for your body as it is for your soul. We also have an Information Desk where newcomers can learn more about who we are and the ministries currently under way. At each door, we have members to welcome you, help you find your way around, and make sure you have everything you need for our classes and worship services.
But these moments don’t happen on their own. We have several groups of cheerful and committed volunteers posted at the doors, the Information Desk, and the Coffee Spot. These hospitality teams meets early, before attenders begin arriving, to pray together and receive any specific guidance. Volunteers for rotating ‘duty stations’ are welcome to join our ranks, but be warned: you have to rise and shine early to be ready before everyone arrives. If early mornings are not your thing, you may be able to help support this ministry financially. We also have had numerous donors that have helped supplement the cost of coffee, juice, and pastries. We will always welcome help supporting the cost of this time of fellowship.
Our God has always created fellowship opportunities for his followers. We understand the importance of this time together and ask everyone who is able to support it however you can. We especially ask that you spend time in prayer, asking God to bless these moments so that everyone feels welcomed in the Love of Christ.
